  There is no "freeway" anywhere near this campground. The sunshine coast highway (2 lanes) goes directly by the campground but we didn't notice any excessive noise. The people were friendly and helpful (every restaurant recommendation was spot on!) and the camping spaces were lovely. When we were there salmon were swimming upstream in the creek which was quite a thrill. You can't go wrong picking this as a place to camp. We actually stayed 2 extra days because of its relatively central location on the lower sunshine coast.

  I have been to this campground for many years now. It's located close to the beach and a grocery store in which, both are walking distances. They charge $1 for a 6 minute shower now, which is alright. However, the cleanines of the washrooms is something else. I see the staff go to clean the washroom's and when their "finished " the dirt or mess that was there is still there. If they were to just fix that then, I would give a higher rating. But other than that, I would recommend this campground.

  The campsites are small and so close to the highway and a mall it is very loud. We would not stay there again.

  Great location. NIce big shade trees and creek. Strip mall right next door with IGA, Strait Coffee House, and PepperCreek Pizza which is about the best pizza you could find anywhere. Beautiful Davis Bay just down the road and the location is central to the lower Sunshine Coast for getting around. Only 3 stars because their Wifi is horrible, too many workers camping there who start their noisy diesel trucks early in the am, and the stinky acrid smoke from too many close-by fire pits.
